Hands Together: Serving in Unity

In 1 John 3:16-24, we are reminded of the profound love Jesus demonstrated by laying down His life for us—an act of ultimate service and sacrifice. When we serve together as a church, we embody the love Christ showed, creating a powerful witness that can draw others to Him.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the beautiful example of love and sacrifice demonstrated through Your Son, Jesus Christ. As He served humanity by giving His life, inspire me to serve within my church and community with a joyful and selfless spirit. Help me to see the needs around me, and grant me the courage and willingness to meet them alongside my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Strengthen the bonds within our church family as we work together. Let our collective service be a testament to Your love, drawing others closer to You. Teach us humility and patience through our interactions, and let our community grow stronger and more unified in our service.

Provide opportunities for me to contribute, using the gifts You have blessed me with. May I not hesitate to step forward, remembering that every act of service, no matter how small, plays a part in building Your Kingdom. Let our hands, working together, bring light and hope to those in need, reflecting Your love in all we do.
